You keep the drill-down. You stop maintaining account ranges by hand. When your chart of accounts changes, your reports keep tying out instead of breaking quietly. Your existing Spreadsheet Server reports, including Query Designer non-GL reports, migrate into ACORiX with you. And when you still want Excel, ACORiX exports with live sync, clean and structured, no add-in license required.
From Crystal Reports
Your custom reports are an investment, not a liability. ACORiX's structured migration program moves your non-operational reports into ACORiX progressively, keeping what makes them yours, and there they gain live viewing, drill-down, and clean Excel export. The roughly 1,300 canned reports migrate over time as well, and you can run them in both ACORiX and your existing report viewer throughout the transition. Your operational documents stay in Crystal Reports, where they belong.

A one-time onboarding engagement sets ACORiX up against your environment. From there the software is free while you author your core financial statements in ACORiX and tie them out against your close, three months running. Spreadsheet Server and Crystal Reports keep running the whole time. Nothing is decommissioned.
Step 03
Commit when it is earned.
After the third close ties out, your first paid author seat begins. Viewer seats stay free for your whole organization, always. If it did not earn its place, you walk away, and the only money spent was the onboarding.

The commercial model

Most reporting tools ask you to buy a perpetual license first and find out later. ACORiX runs the other way. You pay for a scoped onboarding engagement that sets ACORiX up against your environment, and that is the only commitment to begin. The software itself is free until it has proven itself through three month-end closes on your own data. There is no perpetual license and no lock-in. After commitment it is a subscription, never a sunk perpetual, and Viewer seats are free for the whole organization, always.
